Want to see what Craig Questions does when he's not skating? Jack Lammas made this really great, short documentary film about him.
HORDE 2
The hits keep coming, last week it was the incredible HIVE video by Fat Jim, now for a limited time only, Film-maker Mike McKinlay's much anticipated Barrier Kult HORDE 2 video is out now, in association with King Skate mag just in time for Halloween. Supported by Emerica, Skull Skates, PD's Hot shop, and of course Heroin Skateboards.
On a personal note, the Barrier Kult have influenced Heroin video's as far back as me and Alan Glass making Live From Antarctica in 2005. Even before Deer Man of Dark Woods joined the Heroin pro team roster. Horde 2 follows their 2004 Horde release which revealed the existence of the Kult to the world, and it's exactly what you expect and want (need) from a Barrier Kult video.
Everyone Killed it, but I believe the most important part in this video might even be Cthylla Ascention from Deep Cenote. I called Deer Man and said "Its rad that there's a kid who has a part in the video" He said to me "That's a girl!" My mind was blown. I'm 100% supportive of girls in skateboarding and always have been, but this to me is a huge milestone. The fact that I didn't know it was a girl because off the anonymity aspect of the Kult is great, and that she goes toe to toe with the guys in the video is such a huge thing. There's no separation, that's what I feel is the major important factor.
HIVE VIDEO BY FAT JIM!
James Craven is a grafter. When he's not working at Note or filming Tom Day, Joe O Donnell or Zach Riley parts for us, he's on missions filming for various other projects. This is his latest one, HIVE features Emerica riders and is filmed entirely in Manchester, unquestionably one of the greatest cities on the planet. Enjoy.
Heroin Holiday 2017 Catalog!
Our new Holiday Catalog is out now. Check in with your local skate shop for the goods. If they're sissies and scared of the name, then get it from our online store. Super stoked for this drop, Hirotton killed it with his first Heroin series "Vicious Nature". Tony Karr came up with the "Revenge of the Egg" and I'm skating that now and loving it. So much other good stuff. Deer Man of Dark Woods 8.88 on a Shovelegg shape. Glow in the dark wheels! Glow in the dark rails. Egg pin badges. It's all too much, check it for yourself in our "Stuff" page.

HORDE 2
When Barrier Kult released the HORDE DVD in 2004, I don't think they know the effect it would have on skateboarding. I loved it, it was completely refreshing to what was happening in skateboarding, Ski masks, Jersey Barriers, Black metal, scenes from obscure horror movies thrown in there. Whats not to love? Alan Glass and I always cited it as a huge inspiration for our "Live from Antarctica" Video from 2005.
A lot has happened in the 13 years since the last video. Shoe deals, pro trucks, Japan tours, countless Pro models and magazine articles, even a book. We're blessed (or Cursed might be more apt) to have Deer Man of Dark Woods as one of our Pro's. He even had last part in our 2013 DVD Video Nasty, and I even let him drive my 74 Camaro around Los Angeles for a day.
So when they announced the follow up to HORDE, HORDE 2, of course you know its going to be good. 13 years in the making. Expect NO MERCY to be shown to those Barriers in this one.
Magic Sticky Hand 2 iTunes Release!
MSH2 on Itunes
I wanted to give the skate shops a while to sell through on the DVDs's before releasing Magic Sticky Hand 2 on iTunes. Now that we've been sold out for a while I feel like tomorrow is a good time to launch the iTunes version.
Featuring new songs for Logan and Anaiah's parts, and an extended Craig Questions edit. Definitely worth checking out the iTunes version of MSH2.
