Earth Goblin unleashed upon the world.

After months of ads, trailers, editing and hype, Earth Goblin is with us.

It Premiered at the Downtown Independent theater on Main Street in L.A. on a chilly Monday night, 13th Jan 2020. It went up on the Thrasher site the next day, and I’ve been overwhelmed by the messages of support and love for the video. Thanks for letting me share my vision of skateboarding with the world and I’m really happy that it resonated with a few of you.

Earth Goblin update.

Working on it all, looking good for a release next week!! I actually finished editing it all last week, and then ended up going to the mountains for a while. I don’t even know if anyone reads blog posts anymore because of all the new social media stuff like Insta and the like, but I thought I’d share this little update.

Trying to figure out some kind of last minute L.A. premier right now. Stay tuned.

Craig MSH2

Just put Craig Questions Magic Sticky Hand 2 part up on our Youtube channel.

Here’s hoping they don’t take it down cos of the music, which we cleared with the band.

Their bloody algorithm stuff is annoying though.

Craig filmed a VHS video part for our 2017 DVD and iTunes release Magic Sticky Hand 2. Filmed mainly by Max Rotton. Edit by Fos. Song "Running" by Oh Rose with kind permission. Here's some other crap that we do stuff on. https://www.facebook.com/heroinskateboarding http://www.heroinskateboarding.com htttp://instagram.com/heroinskateboards

Chopper EGTBA part

I first went to Japan in 1999, I got to meet Chopper for the first time. I’d been a big fan of his skating since I saw his tricks in the 1996 FESN video by Takahiro Morita. I always looked for photos of him in Ollie Magazine too whenever I saw copies of that. When I finally met him for the first time it was at Spotaka, the local Osaka shop. He was so nice and courteous to a Northern English skateboarder with a weird little British company. Every time I seemed to go to Japan after that I would meet Chopper, either coincidentally at a trade show, or I’d call him and go skateboarding with him. Our Japanese distributor at the time were the ones who connected us and got him to officially ride for Heroin. He said he liked the first video we had made “Good Shit” and so I was stoked to have him as part of the squad. He was actually the first Pro for Heroin Skateboards. When it came to filming his part for EGTBA, it’s a mash up of footage that he’d had around for a while that hadn’t been used for anything, and some filming trips to the UK where he would go out with Chris Massey and Alan Glass. I’ve always loved his unique style and creativity in skateboarding. I feel like I just wanted his style of mashing around the streets of Osaka to be brought over to our dirty British pavements. Alan Glass hit the nail on the head to use this Crass song, and I think it goes perfectly with Choppers skating. I heard this song the other day and it reminded me of how much I liked this part and made me think I should upload it to our Vimeo channel.

Married With Children

I really really enjoyed this latest full length video out of Texas. Our man in Houston, Aaron Wilson has a full part and sent me a link a few days ago. I rarely have the time to sit down and watch a full video these days, but I’m really glad I did with this one. Definitely give it a look, hats off to everyone involved in this one, you guys killed it.
